‘At the tender age of seven, Chris Simons had his first experience of the sausage manufacturing business during the school holidays, and following his graduation from University, went on to work for blue chip companies such as Hazlewood Foods before joining his father Roger back in the family business.
Today he owns and runs the businesses and has done since 2009. Injecting his experiences of many years in the industry to make the Taste of Suffolk and Broad Oak Farm the successful family business they are today, based on family values of quality and service whilst ensuring innovative ideas and structure is in place for the next generation.
The Taste of Suffolk is owned by Chris Simons but it is run by his father Roger Simons whom was responsible in part for the success of both the Taste of Suffolk and its sister company Broad Oak Farm.
Roger has spent his entire adult life in the sausage business bringing years of knowledge and expertise. His passion has helped drive the business forward, constantly improving can be found inside every product we make, and quality along with customer service vital to our success.
